Manuas, Brazil

In the Fall of 2011, International Hope Builders representatives visited a site in Manuas, Brazil, to perform a needs assessment on a building site for a parsonage. The team returned, along with 7 volunteers, in April of 2012 to implement the building project. In partnership with the Church of God out of Cleveland, TN, this weeklong project utilized the Lazarian World Homes Building System, which uses a simplistic form of Styrofoam building blocks. The entire structure was built, and the final touches, such as the roof, will be made by local volunteers with locally sourced materials.
